Shari Williams' Tantalizing Golden Milk Recipe

One of our hometown favorite yoga teachers is Shari Williams. Shari is an experienced registered yoga teacher with over 500 hours of teaching credentials and is also certified as an international yoga therapist. Her intrigue of the human body and passion for yoga fuels Shari’s desire to teach.

Shari’s yogic journey began over 30 years ago with spiritual study and meditation as well as asana. Her presentation of instruction is firmly rooted through education of kinesiology and Yoga Therapy, inspired by Yoga Tune Up®, Anusara, Sri Vidya Tantra, & Iyengar. Shari’s offerings are alignment and strength oriented and include myofascial release, neurological challenges and corrective applications of yoga asana. All is suffused with the philosophy of yoga.

Co-founder of PAAVANI Ayurveda, Trudy Collings, had the pleasure of training beside Shari in 2015 and most recently in 2017 at a Restorative Yoga Teacher Training. During that training, Shari shared with Trudy her method of making her daily golden milk. The recipe was so tantalizing, that we knew we wanted to share it with you all!

Golden Milk is an Ayurvedic beverage that has been used for centuries to relieve a multitude of ailments. Its ingredients help boost immune function, aid in digestive health, promote healthy skin and ease cold & flu symptoms. In short, this is the perfect wintertime drink to keep you healthy and balanced as we step into this new year.
